Hiking in the Dolomites and the Alpe di Siusi in the South Tyrol
A hiking holiday in South Tyrol is synonymous with a unique experience immersed in an unparalleled landscape. The Alpe di Siusi/Seiser Alm, Europe's largest high plain, is located in the Dolomites and attracts many visitors with its beautiful hiking trails, challenging mountain tours and fascinating climbing routes. 350 km of hiking trails lead to fabulous places and beautiful viewpoints. Take a break, breathe in the fresh air and discover the flora and fauna which surround us. With a little luck you can see circling eagles, hear marmots whistle and perhaps watch chamois deer. With its 800 documented plant species Sciliar/Schlern has the most beautiful alpine flowers waiting to be discovered on its slopes: gentian, edelweiss, Devil's Claw or rhododendrons - which will you recognize there?
Regardless of age, ability and physical condition, the numerous hiking trails can also easily lead to sampling culinary delights en route: enjoy good South Tyrolean dumplings in a typical farm house or in autumn taste something at a tavern: a typical “Törggelemahlzeit” with chestnuts and doughnuts!
We are happy to recommend several walks to you.
